Ground Maintenance: The areas listed below are broken down into practical information that will enable you to see that TideWater can meet your immediate needs or long range capital programs both in the private and military sectors.
General Skills: Includes mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and detailing.
Irrigation: The monitoring of property for the required amount of water on the turf. Also, a monthly pressured inspection of the system. This can include system repairs and maintenance.
Chemical: The restricted use of liability of many of the products today require the constant training and procedures of businesses to ensure the safety of individuals. We provide different programs for each of our bases of locations from IPM (Integrated Pest Management) to Blanket Coverage of the turf, shrubs, ground cover, and trees.
Mulch: There are many different types of mulch to be applied in different states. For example, Texas and Oklahoma use rocks to protect the foliage roots from freezing temperatures and help retain the moisture in the ground. In fact, we believe much of the reason is to protect from erosion due to wind. Virginia and Georgia use pine straw due to the availablity of the resources located in these states.
Annual/Perennials: We recommend color at locations with high visibility to offer a point of direction for visitors. We locate them at many signs, buildings, shopping centers, and officer quarters.
Tree Care: Under the counsel of our Certified Arborist, there is routine pruning of dead limbs to provide canopy lifting for pedestrian and vehicular traffic, protection of residence in private family housing, visibility of commercial signs for busineses and exposure of many historic and main buildings.
